Profile - Ian Lyons
Ian has over 35 years’ experience in the technology industry, with the last 25 years on the front line, selling or managing sales. He has extensive international experience having worked in Europe, Asia and the Americas. He is the principle of a technology consulting firm and as such is deeply involved in selling and working closely with clients helping them manage high value purchases. This provides a unique perspective from both sides of the fence.
Ian holds several directorships, has management and finance qualifications gained in Australia and Europe and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Barry has over 20 years' experience in business development, Sales and Marketing Management in the Telecommunications and Data Networking industries including over 7 years as a National Marketing Manager and member of Leadership Management Teams.
He holds a Masters of Business (Marketing) and a Graduate Diploma in Marketing – RMIT University. And has managed sales and marketing teams, identified and led initiatives ranging from national media campaigns, product launches, product evaluation and vendor selection, to strategic positioning and change management.
Barry combines his consulting expertise with the design and facilitation of corporate training workshops and holds Certificates IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) and Leadership & Management (BSB42015) as recognised within the Australian Qualifications Framework.
